Salmon fillets emerge from the oven moist, juicy and full of flavor in this easy weeknight recipe. Oh, and cleanup? It's a breeze.
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 Tbsp. reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 4 (4 - to 6 - oz.) salmon fillets
- Salt and pepper
- Minced fresh chives, for serving
Steps
- Center a rack in oven and heat to 400 degrees.
- In a small saucepan, heat butter, garlic, and soy sauce over medium until butter is melted and garlic is fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Season salmon fillets all over with salt and pepper, then place each on a 6" piece of foil. Divide butter mixture over top of salmon, then fold sides of foil up to form packets and seal edges. Place packets on a baking sheet and bake until salmon flakes easily with a fork, 12 to 15 minutes.
- Sprinkle with minced fresh chives before serving.
