This whipped feta dip can be garnished with any number of toppings. For a nutty pesto variation, try adding pesto, toasted pine nuts and red pepper flakes. Top with mango chutney, lime zest and finely chopped red onion for a zesty mango take. Or create a citrus-beet dip with finely chopped pickled beets, vinaigrette, orange zest and fresh mint.
Ingredients
- 1 (6 - oz.) block Taste of Inspirations® Feta Cheese
- ¼ cup whole milk Greek yogurt
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. black pepper
- Assorted toppings such as pesto, citrus zest or fresh herbs
Steps
- Break feta into pieces, then transfer to a food processor along with yogurt, oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Puree until smooth and creamy, scraping down sides of bowl as needed.
- Transfer to a bowl and top with desired toppings.
