These easy cookies are a great way to kick off fall baking with seasonal flavor favorites like maple, cranberry, chocolate and cinnamon. Store-bought maple granola adds extra texture and crunch.
Ingredients
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups uncooked oats
- 1 cup maple granola
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ cup raisins
- ¼ cup dried cranberries
- ¼ cup square chocolate bits or chocolate chips
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350ºF with a rack in middle position. In a large bowl, beat together butter, sugar, syrup and egg until combined. Add oats, granola, flour, baking soda and cinnamon. Mix well to combine. Mix in raisins, dried cranberries and chocolate bits.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon measure, drop cookie dough onto a greased baking sheet. Bake until edges are lightly golden, 11 to 13 minutes. Transfer cookies to a wire rack and cool completely. Repeat with remaining dough.
