Serve this fun and festive cocktail at your holiday party this year. Crush the candy canes into fine pieces to rim each martini glass.
Ingredients
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- ½ cup crushed candy canes
- 6 oz vodka
- 4 oz peppermint schnapps
- 4 tbsp half & half
- Ice, as needed
- 4 mini candy canes
Steps
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, heat chocolate chips in 30-second intervals for about 2 minutes, stirring in between, until melted and smooth. Pour melted chocolate onto a shallow plate and place crushed candy canes on separate shallow plate. Dip rims of 4 martini glasses in chocolate, then in candy canes. Pour remaining chocolate into the bottom of glasses and swirl to coat. Place glasses in freezer while preparing martini.
- To a large cocktail shaker, add vodka, peppermint schnapps and half & half. Fill the shaker with ice, cover and shake until cold. Strain into chilled martini glasses and garnish each glass with a candy cane.
