This sparkling mocktail blends a medley of citrus juices and maple syrup with a splash of ginger beer for a bright, refreshing treat everyone can enjoy.
Ingredients
- 6 blood or navel oranges, halved
- 2 lemons, halved, plus more to taste
- ¼ cup maple syrup, plus more to taste
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 cups store-bought ruby red grapefruit juice
- 1 (12 oz) bottle ginger beer, chilled
- Ruby red grapefruit or blood orange slices, to serve (optional)
Steps
- Place a fine-mesh sieve over a 2-cup glass measuring cup. Squeeze oranges and lemons into measuring cup, making at least 1 cup blood orange juice and ¼ cup lemon juice.
- To a medium pitcher, add maple syrup and cinnamon. Stir to combine. Add orange and lemon juices along with grapefruit juice. Taste, adding more maple syrup or lemon juice if desired. Refrigerate if not serving immediately.
- To serve, add ice to pitcher. Divide juice mixture among glasses, filling each about two-thirds full. Top with ginger beer. Garnish rims of glasses with citrus slices, if desired.
Tips
Citrus juice and maple syrup mixture can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Stir before using.
