Keep a pitcher of this sweet tea on hand in the refrigerator to greet your guests with a cool refreshment as they arrive.
Ingredients
- 1 (1 - inch) piece fresh ginger
- 1 pint blackberries
- ¼ cup lemon juice (from 1-2 lemons)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ½ gallon green tea with honey
- Fresh mint, for garnish
Steps
- Peel the ginger and slice. In a blender, purée the blackberries, lemon juice, sugar, and ginger until smooth.
- Into a large pitcher, strain berry mixture using fine-mesh sieve. Stir in the tea. Refrigerate until cold. Serve over ice. Garnish with mint.
